Returns and RMAs

Return Policy:

BatteryFuel™.com will refund the original purchase price of the product only. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable. Please double check your purchase immediately after receiving to ensure it is in good working condition and is the correct item that was ordered. If there is a discrepancy with the order or the product arrives damaged contact BatteryFuel™ at support@batteryfuel.com within 2 days of receipt with a description of the discrepancy or damage. Please review information below for details on requesting an RMA number and returning an item.

**All returns must be issued an RMA to receive a refund or credit. Returns MUST be mailed back to the manufacturer. Returns are not accepted at BatteryFuel's mailing address and will be refused and returned. Batteryfuel does not forward return products to the manufacturer.

Warranties are not valid if any label is removed or if the battery pack has been modified, improperly charged, improperly installed, improperly conditioned upon receipt, neglected, overcharged or misused in anyway. Manufacturer warranties do not cover batteries that have been subjected to "memory effect" (due to insufficient conditioning) overcharging or other abuse and misuse. We reserve the right to test any battery and product prior to issuing a new replacement or refund.

All batteries and adapters are shipped direct from the warehouse and all returns MUST be shipped back to warehouse for credit. Our products are manufactured in large quantities, and are spot checked for defects. Occasionally, a bad battery or adapter will get through and ship to a customer. If you need to return an item please follow the procedures below.

Batteries and other BatteryFuel™ products may be returned within 30 calendar days of the order's received date. An RMA request must be filed within 15 calendar days (This excludes manufacturer warranty) of the order's received shipping date. No return requests will be accepted after 15 calendar days from the received shipping date except for warranty returns. Once your RMA number has been issued, you will have 15 calendar days to return the item to the warehouse.

In order to receive a refund, your purchase must be returned using a trackable pre-paid carrier. All items must be in "as-new" condition, in original packaging and with all warranty cards, manuals and accessories as well as the authorized Returned Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA) clearly written on the outside of the package.

There are two classifications of RMAs:

Seller Oversight:
If we ship you a product that does not work, or ship you a product that is not what you ordered, we will ship you a replacement item via UPS Ground (at our cost) or credit your account. You must ship the original item back to the warehouse with the RMA number issued through our RMA procedure and the package must be received back at the factory within 15 calendar days once you have received your authorized RMA number.

Customer Oversight: (Buyers Remorse)
**If a customer orders the wrong item and wants to return it, or they decide that they no longer want the item, they may return it for a refund minus a 15% restocking fee. An RMA request must be submitted by email to support@batteryfuel.com within 15 days of the date the item was received. The customer must then ship the item back to the warehouse using a trackable pre-paid carrier, within 15 calendar days once they have received the authorized RMA number. This allows plenty of time for items to reach the warehouse within 30 days. All returned items are tested; any items returned damaged will incur further fees to be set by the manufacturer.

Return and Exchange Procedures - RMA Requests

If you have a concern about a purchase and believe you need to return a product you must email us at support@batteryfuel.com and request an RMA number within 15 days of receiving the product. Please provide a detailed reason for the return, since sometimes we may be able to assist if there is an unforeseen problem with the product. The product must be received back at the warehouse within 30 days of receipt. Manufacturer Warranty RMA requests can be made for an exchange within the listed warranty time on the original purchased item only.

The RMA requests must include:

  • - BatteryFuel Order # (4 digit number after the hyphen from the yhst catalog#) off of your
      orginal emailed order receipt or from your confirmation page at checkout.
  • - Customer Name & Address
  • - Part number and Quantity
  • - Detailed Explanation on reason for an RMA request.
  • **Please do not provide information off of the packing slip.

An incomplete explanation of any concerns may circumvent the return request, so please provide detail information on defective products. An RMA number with instructions will be assigned and sent to the requesting customer via email within 24-48 hours, M-F or the next business day if on a weekend or holiday.

**RMA requests for customer oversight or buyer's remorse are not eligible for returning once the 15 days from the date of item received date has passed.

When will I get my refund?
Refunds will be credited to the original purchasing credit card or PayPal account. Once credit is applied to your account it usually posts within 5-10 Business Days of our crediting the transaction. If you send an item back to us, please allow up to 30 days once the item is received back at the warehouse before you may see a credit posted to your credit card or PayPal account. Sometimes it may take 1 billing cycle for a credit to show up on a statement.

When will I get my exchanged item?
Please allow up to 10 business days after your returned item has arrived back at the warehouse for exchanges to complete the testing, restocking and shipping procedure.
